As the founder and driving force behind Happy Club, Nepal, we are proud to have created a space where comedy thrives. What began as a simple idea has evolved into a vibrant platform for aspiring comedians through weekly open mics and special shows.
Happy Club is more than just a stage; it’s a community. We believe in nurturing raw talent, fostering creativity, and bringing people together through laughter. Our open mics provide a welcoming environment for new and seasoned comedians to test their material and grow.
My journey with Happy Club has been incredibly fulfilling. From organizing events to performing on stage, We’ve created a space where performers and audiences can connect, laugh, and create unforgettable moments.
We believe in a DIY approach, building the venue to stage, developing tools like the HC Portal for video sharing, Instagram promotion tools, and our automated performer registration and custom audience reservation system. Every step is driven by our passion to offer a seamless experience for all.

Finding My Voice
In the beginning, I focused on what I thought the audience would like, trying to meet expectations. But over time, I discovered that true comedy comes from being authentic. Now, I share what matters to me, whether it’s personal experiences or everyday observations, adding my own comic twist to make it funny and relatable. Comedy is no longer just about pleasing, it’s about expressing myself and making audience laugh with what I truly care about.

Dozens of restaurants and cafes run open-mics, claiming to provide a platform for art and artists. But we all know that, to them, we are just customers or potential promoters who might bring in more customers.
None of them would continue if open-mics no longer benefited them commercially. Amidst a crowd of such faces, I saw a man in his 30s, working tirelessly—earning nothing but spending so much.
